Beta Closed
I am officially closing the beta phase of Anima Prime. The game has been refined a lot over the past year, thanks to much input from a lot of players from all over the world. It's time to close that chapter and move to the final stages. I'm leaving the beta version up for download until the game is released (at which point it will be replaced with the free text-only version), but be aware that it differs from the final version in some significant ways.
New Version 1.2 Now Ready!
The new version of the beta is now ready:
Please use that one until I've updated all of the text on the site. It streamlines and reorganizes the whole document, taking out some half-baked things to focus on the core mechanics. It also comes with a complete version of the new skill system, more examples, sample enemies, and more.
Welcome to Anima Prime
Heroes with spiked hair and attitude, swords the size of tree trunks, and fast-paced, dramatic battles about honor, love, and destiny.
If that sounds like fun to you, you should check out Anima Prime.
Anima Prime is an anime-oriented game inspired by great shows and long-running video game series, which all have certain things in common. They're fun. They're fast. They're fantastical. And most of all, underneath all the action, there are complex characters we care about and dramatic stories that unfold in the course of the game.
